We'll pass through Midelt, known for its apple production and mineral wealth, offering a change in scenery as we ascend into the mountains. We'll continue to Azrou, a Berber town famous for its cedar forests and the Barbary macaques that inhabit them. We'll have a chance to stretch our legs and perhaps spot these playful creatures. Our journey then takes us to Ifrane, often called "Little Switzerland" due to its European-style architecture and cooler climate. We'll admire its unique charm before continuing our drive to Fes, the spiritual and cultural heart of Morocco, where you are currently located and where we'll check into our accommodation for the next two nights.
