9 Days Tour From Tangier To Marrakech & Desert Tour

After enjoying breakfast at your riad, we’ll begin a scenic drive through the Rif villages and Wazan on our way to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. There, you’ll step back in time as you explore the fascinating archaeological remains that tell the story of Morocco’s deep historical roots. 

From Volubilis, we’ll continue to Meknes, the imperial city of the 17th century, where you’ll enjoy lunch and stroll beside the grand medina walls, marvel at the intricate Bab El Mansour gate, and visit the revered shrine of Moulay Ismail. Our day ends with a drive to the cultural heart of Morocco Fes where a peaceful riad stay awaits.

After a delightful breakfast at your riad, get ready to uncover the timeless charm of Morocco’s oldest city Fes. Your third day of your 9 days tour from tangier to marrakech begins through its narrow alleys and winding streets, starting with the grand Royal Palace gates and the historic Mellah, the first Jewish quarter in Morocco dating back to the 16th century. 

After enjoying a traditional Moroccan lunch, your tour continues with a visit to a local tile cooperative before wrapping up with a stunning panoramic view over the ancient medina a perfect end to a day steeped in history and discovery.

Leaving Fes behind, your adventure takes you through the breathtaking Middle Atlas Mountains, winding past the ancient cedar forests once prized by Phoenicians and Romans for their craftsmanship and shipbuilding. Along the way, you'll pass through Ifrane dubbed the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine charm and Azrou, a traditional Berber village nestled in the highlands. 

As the landscape shifts, you’ll journey through the dramatic Ziz Valley and its rugged gorges en route to the desert gateway town of Erfoud. From there, a scenic off road drive leads you into the golden rock desert toward Merzouga, where camels await to carry you across the dunes at sunset.

The day ends with a magical night under the stars in a luxury Berber camp, complete with dinner and the soul stirring silence of the Sahara.

Begin your day with an optional sunrise camel ride over Merzouga’s golden dunes a peaceful, magical moment as the desert awakens. Afterward, return to Erfoud for breakfast before heading toward Tinghir, passing through the historic town of Rissani and the quiet village of Tinjdad. 

The journey continues through the scenic Dades Valley to Kelaat M’Gouna, a  village famed for its blooming rose fields and locally crafted rose infused products. End your day in Ouarzazate, affectionately known as "Morocco’s Hollywood," where a delicious dinner and a restful night await.

Kick off your day in Ouarzazate by exploring two of Morocco’s most stunning kasbahs Taourirt and Tifoultoute each offering a glimpse into the region’s rich architectural heritage.

Then, dive into the cinematic side of Morocco with a visit to the famous film studios where legendary scenes from epic movies were filmed. Next, journey to the iconic Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village that’s starred in classics like Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Alexander.

After soaking in its timeless charm, your adventure continues across the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the winding Tizi N’Tichka pass, eventually descending into the  city of Marrakech for an overnight stay.

Spend a full day uncovering the magic of Marrakech on a guided city tour that begins in the heart of the  Jemaa el Fna Square alive with street performers, snake charmers, fortune tellers, and irresistible food stalls. From there, marvel at the iconic Koutoubia Minaret, wander through the opulent Bahia Palace, and step back in time at the Saadian Tombs. 

Enjoy a relaxing lunch back at your hotel before diving into the labyrinthine alleys of the medina for an afternoon of exploration. As evening falls, savor a delicious dinner at a local restaurant before retreating to your hotel for a restful night in this captivating city.

We’ll depart Marrakech at 8:00 AM, heading west through a scenic landscape of grazing goats perched on wild argan trees and scattered Berber villages. Along the way, you can opt to stop at a women run cooperative to sample argan oil, prized for both its culinary richness and cosmetic benefits.

As we near the Atlantic, a sweeping view of Essaouira’s blue and white charm welcomes us. Once in the port town, you’re free to explore at your own pace wander the bustling quays as fishermen unload the day’s catch, savor fresh seafood at a seaside restaurant, and lose yourself in the medina’s artistic soul.

Don’t miss the exquisite thuya woodwork in local shops, a signature craft of Essaouira, though now rare and ethically delicate.

After enjoying your final Moroccan breakfast, we’ll take care of your smooth transfer to Marrakech airport, ensuring you arrive with plenty of time for your return flight.
