Enjoy some free time for lunch at a local café before we head further north to the picturesque seaside town of Asilah. We set off along the scenic northern coast toward Tangier often called “the bride of the north” where the Mediterranean kisses the Atlantic at Cape Spartel. Once in Tangier, you’ll explore its unique charm, including a visit to the legendary Hercules Cave and the windswept beauty of Cape Spartel. 

After some free time for lunch, our journey continues inland through Tetouan and the stunning Rif Mountains, with stops along the way to capture the breathtaking landscapes. By late afternoon, we arrive in the magical blue city of Chefchaouen, where you’ll enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in a cozy hotel nestled in the hills.

After breakfast, dive into the serene charm of Chefchaouen the blue pearl of Morocco, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Known as Achaoun in Berber, meaning “the horns,” this picturesque town is famous for its calming white and blue painted walls and narrow, winding alleys. Our first stop is the ancient Roman city of Volubilis an open air museum of mosaics, crumbling archways, and timeworn columns, beautifully preserved and honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Just 30 kilometers onward lies Meknes once the mighty heart of the Ismaili dynasty, now a sleeping giant among Morocco’s imperial jewels.Explore its majestic sites including Bab Al Mansour gate, the serene Sahrij Souani basin, the vast Royal Stables, and the mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismail.

On the sixth day of your morocco itinerary 14 days, we dive deep into the rich tapestry of Fes a city that stands as Morocco’s spiritual and cultural heart. Our day begins at the grand gates of the Royal Palace, followed by an immersive journey through the UNESCO listed medieval Medina, led by a knowledgeable local guide.

Today, we dive deep into the wonders of the Merzouga region famous for its vast dunes, fossil filled landscapes, ancient mines, and serene oases perfect for outdoor adventures. We begin with an off road drive to discover a centuries old kohl mine, then visit a nomadic family in their traditional woven tent for a taste of authentic Berber hospitality over a cup of tea. 

Next, in the soulful village of Khamlia, you’ll be immersed in the hypnotic rhythms and dancing of Gnaoua music, brought by descendants of migrants from Mali, Sudan, and Niger. After a leisurely lunch, we stroll through a peaceful palm grove and finish the day at the wild lake of Merzouga home to seasonal flamingos.

After breakfast, we bid farewell to the golden dunes and head to Rissani, once the bustling capital of the Tafilalet region and still a   hub of trade. Its traditional souk comes alive on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays offering a fascinating glimpse into local life.

After exploring its colorful market stalls, we journey to Erfoud, famous for its fossilized marble, where we’ll visit a local workshop to witness ancient marine life preserved in stone. travel through Imouzzer to alpine Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco.” 

Stroll through cedar forests and meet playful Barbary macaques. Enjoy lunch in Midelt, then continue via the scenic Tizi n'Tilghmt Pass and the lush Ziz Valley. Wander through its bustling fishing port, stroll along the ancient ramparts dotted with old cannons, and get lost in the maze like alleys of the UNESCO listed Medina. As the ocean breeze fills the air, we’ll transfer you to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay in this coastal gem.

After enjoying a relaxed breakfast in Essaouira, we begin our journey back to the city of Marrakech, soaking in panoramic views along the scenic route. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is yours to embrace the pulse of the Red City stroll through the legendary Jemaa El Fna square, alive with storytellers, musicians, and market magic.
